It looks like I can create multiple folders with whatever names I choose and then sort my bookmarks into them according to category. Was having the same issuee, found a solution (sort of). I just discovered that when I right click on the bookmark manager page, I get the options to “Add new bookmark” or “Add new folder”. Use extensions to help keep track of your. After you enable it, the Bookmarks Bar appears just below the address bar with all your saved links. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+Shift+B (in Windows/Chrome OS) or Command+Shift+B (in macOS). While not the same, I think I found something that will help. Though Chrome’s Bookmark Manager can help out by sorting your saved sites by name, it won’t do it by the date you added them (unfortunately). Fire up Chrome, click the menu icon, point to Bookmarks, and then click Show Bookmarks Bar. I just included it because it was part of the message. I don’t care about nightmode.fm, as it is apparently some game site that I don’t go to anyway. I don’t know where you are seeing “Recent Bookmarks” as I cannot find it on any of my menus. Maybe that happens when I close the browser or on some time schedule? What I want to be able to do is arrange them in time sequence. Alternatively, you can use Control + Shift + O shortcut keys in Windows to open the Bookmarks Manager. Select the Bookmarks option and on the dropdown menu, choose the option Bookmarks Manager. As I said in my previous post, my bookmarks were already sorted by name, except for several on the end of my list, which now seem to have “automagically” moved up into the main list.
